ABOUT HANNAH

Bay Area native, Hannah Newell, is an experienced vocalist, vocal coach, and musician. She received her BA from California State University, East Bay where she focused her energy on vocal performance and choral conducting. Earning awards such as “Most Valuable Soprano” and the “Dr. David Stein Award for Choral Excellence”, Hannah takes her vocal experience and applies it in her choral teaching and vocal technique. Hannah is currently employed through the Diocese of Oakland, where she has worked for the past twelve years. Hannah has an extensive history in Music Ministry and has directed parish choirs, instrumentalists, and cantors with her humor and maternal grace. Hannah is also an active cantor and sings for weddings, funerals, and special celebrations. Hannah currently resides in Mountain House, California with her husband, David, and their six amazing children.
